If you would like to gain coastal & or offshore sailing /passage making experience or if you are just looking to have a holiday aboard a luxury catamaran, sailing & cruise the waters of the East Coast of Australia, or New Caledonia or maybe Vanuatu or Fiji this could be the opportunity you are looking for. 

A little about the boat, the plans, and the current crew: 

For the past 8 years John & Leanne have been full time cruisers and have over 30,000 nautical miles under our keels. Our interests include yoga & surfing. We don't race and we are not fanatical sailors. Our goal at all times is to be as comfortable as possible with safety of the vessel and all on board being our priority. 

Our vessel " Songlines" is a spacious and well maintained 15m Ocean Cruising Catamaran. 

At just 10 years old she is in excellent condition and has been maintained to the highest standard. The large cockpit is fully weather protected with an extended hardtop & the elevated steering station to port offers excellent all round visibility. The spacious U-shaped saloon, navigation station and galley-up provide an open plan living area. The entire starboard side hull is dedicated to crew accommodation and includes a private cabin with king size berth, single berth, shower & toilet. Dates 

Each year we run the Down Under Rally which departs Australia in May and sails east to New Caledonia. Between June-October we either hang out in New Caledonia or we may decide to sail to Vanuatu & or Fiji before returning departing for the return passage to Bundaberg Australia. 

Contribution $50.00 AUD per person per day whilst on ocean passages & includes meals & non-alcoholic beverages. Whilst on passage crew members are required to be actively involved with sailing the vessel, standing watches and contributing to chores such as cooking and cleaning up. 

If crew members wish to stay on after the ocean passage or join the boat in New Caledonia, Vanuatu or Fiji for a holiday the cost is $300 per day per person (minimum 3 days) & includes all meals, non alcoholic beverages (BYO Alcohol), use of stand up paddle boards & daily yoga classes. 

We do not sail to a schedule. Those joining the vessel must understand that the weather dictates our decisions in regard to departure times, destinations and activities.
