hello everybody my guess I'm back on dry

land so to speak and the first part of

the adventure went really well I think

I've kind broke my virginity of sailing

I've kind of accomplished most of our

wants to do to learn about the ceiling

but what I learned most is the boats not

ready for single-handed sailing

interests some modifications I'd like to

make to the boat before I carry on with

the journey and I'm hoping to get out

again this year but the funds to convert

the boat into single-handed sailing I'm

you know as all of you know I'm

registered disabled that don't work so

my income isn't isn't the grey system

I've sold off most to meet eyes and just

the process of selling the camper van at

the moment behind me to pay to finish

the board off and the main modifications

I want to make is single-handed sailing

is I would like a furling genoa up the

front so i can i can refit and i can

launch it from the cockpit i also want

all the lines leading aft to the cockpit

because I found when I was out my own

the Caesars any way rough it was just

too dangerous for me to be leaving the

safety of the cockpit gone up to the up

to the mast and raising the sails I mean

that there was no way I could have done

it without the autopilot so I mean it's

just safety you know something I have to

do and other modifications I want to

make is the anchor I'd like to be able

to when I raise the anchor is to attach

it to the bow somehow because there was

no permanent space

ace under front of the ball for it to be

securely stored too and it was just

crashing about everywhere when the Seas

got rough tanned that was you know the

noisy that was scary enough also some

modifications on to make on the inside

for you know you got you got to be

comfortable and you gotta keep healthy

and the bed wasn't the most comfortable

place to sleep so I'm gonna make a foam

mattress for myself there and also the

first two days out of I realized the

heads don't work the toilet so I've I've

ordered all the pieces for the titles

and they came this morning so I'm gonna

start fixing on that and also the

outboard the seagull mind of its own

started and was running great and then

wasn't and it turned out it was the HT

lead there was some weird I don't know

suppressor or something in the middle of

the HTV so I took that out put a bit of

wiring between and you know I wasn't

happy you it was a jury-rigged but it

worked but it I've ordered a new one so

I need to fit that and I to be honest

with you I'd like to get an outboard for

the dinghy a shark shaft and also

because i was you know gone into port

most nights or moving or anchoring most

nights and needed to dinghy to get

ashore i'd like to have some David's on

the back of the boat or some way of

keeping the dinghy inflatable an

inflatable and not towing it behind a

boat but having it attached at both

somehow the engineering problem I'll

find somewhere doing it I've seen some

ideas on YouTube already what else was

there all yet a the front sales got a

rip in it but if I'm getting a new

furling gear in a way that doesn't

really matter i'll sell off them what

it's all the stern gland gotta fix

astern gland so I'm gonna take the

engineer to do that and go all over the

engine again I'm very confident with it

and if you've been following the videos

you would have known that I'm kind of

epoxy resin the head

and I hadn't had any problems with the

engine but I'm just gonna take the head

off and check it again so I've got a

fair amount to do and so I i know i said

i'd like to get out again this year but

if if it's not till next year then it's

not till next year again because i also

want to modify the trailer I want to

make it more suitable for being able to

launch and retrieve the boat myself um

so there's all these little projects and

the first one is today's to clear the

board out I think their words I left

some milk in there and it's rotten the

rank in there and I haven't been in the

boat for a month I was away on family

holiday in that and so it's time to get

me working head back on again and start

off with the projects and I keep you all

up to date two times up
