Bocas del Toro and then she's going to

we're now pushing off on our way to isla

dropping Bruna off to say goodbye to her

she's gonna be heading off to the

airport to go back to Brazil she will

not be coming on our Pacific crossing

with us but she's been with us since we

left Saint Maarten and it's been

wonderful having her on board but now we

have to say goodbye

we've been to places that I would

probably have to take like four flights

to get there you know to this places

it's crazy how different all this places

are just like in two days of sailing you

are like in a completely different place

and they're all insanely beautiful I

feel so grateful for everything so now

I'm going back to San Paolo Brazil and I

could be sad but not actually I'm not

sad because I feel like I'm stronger to

deal with the city situations leave

there for a while and then get ready for

the next adventure yeah

oh the party madness of Bocas del Toro

we have a boat race going on around our

boat and our Anchorage of just speedboat

going nuts

this is obviously a local thing seize it

how many times are they gonna go around

it's just like a NASCAR race where

they're just helping the engines they'll

yesterday but we have found a place that

going to go off and explore this place

that Fred and ranae told us about a

plastic village a village of houses made

out of plastic bottles that's all I

really know about that way to go check

it out get some exercise see how fast we

can dehydrate in the Sun and then go

visit Fred and ranae

right we know where we're going

so the story we heard from Rene I'm Fred

yesterday was that there was this guy

who wanted to build an island out of

plastic bottles but then he got worried

that if the island started to break

apart who would be creating more garbage

in the ocean instead of recycling it all

which is what he wanted so instead he

decided to make houses out of plastic

bottles and that is what we're going to

see why we are cycling up the hill in

the midday heat in the middle of Panama

to go see a village of houses named last

bottles better be good

we have arrived the plastic bottle

village

all right should we go see what's going

on inside

we're entering into a plastic house but

it is all stuccoed and stuff inside

all right I'm curious about this plug

the castles

if it is

really cool to see how the local people

are trying to solve their issue with

garbage because a lot of these islands

they collect so much garbage and they

don't know what to do with it it's all

about sustainable living and building

these houses out of plastic bottles and

recycling in a new and different way

waterslide or just like a large bucket

of ice

so ranae and Fred knew our crew member

Lance because they lived in st. John

with him and they had worked together at

some point so Lance was excited to catch

up with them here in their new home in

Panama and they've been so kind to show

us around invite us into their home feed

us all their fresh coconut and mango and

it's been interesting to see how people

make their choices about where they want

to live and they decided st. John didn't

have what they wanted anymore so they

moved down to Panama and they found what

they wanted here in Bocas del Toro even

though we want to travel I really want

to live here you know I mean I really

like it here

and there's what 42 different

nationalities there's something that

does almost here and it just is I know

it seems more laid-back more more what

we're looking for you know st. John you

buy a bag of groceries and you come out

of there it's 40 bucks here it's four

bucks you know it's totally different I

mean we ride we don't have a car we ride

a bike you ride bikes in the town ride

bikes to the beach at your age you know

you say oh well I'm I'm 30 I'm 25

whatever you know next time you turn

around you're 40 and the next time you

turn around you're 55 next time you're

65 and you say I don't do this anymore

you know so if you never write you never

regret what you do it was wrong didn't

do that all right that's why I feel
