last week we rounded the final Cape of
the southern Peloponnese on our way to
our first stop Melo's Island this week
we'll take you to four of the most
unique beaches we've ever seen and they
are all on one Island
my loss is just incredible and this
Greek island is the best place we have
sailed to so far the natural beauty
crazy rock formations and colors all set
in the crystal-clear waters of the
Aegean Sea with the perfect weather
window we are able to anchor just off
these beauties and explore with no one
else around
but first Jase has a little surprise for
our ten-year wedding anniversary bribed
here last night in the dark we anchored
in a little place called clef to go
which is a stunning spot in moss
I've sent trace upstairs to get some
footage I've also told her not to come
downstairs so she might have a little
bit of an idea that I am sorting out our
10-year wedding anniversary the gift I
chose for tres was jewelry I know she
loves it doesn't every girl and there's
a designer from New York she likes she
uses recycled gold and is affordable
perfect happy anniversary how did get
you something

it bought some items from there before
so it says that life has beautiful
moments and this is one of them that's

some rocks I'm pretty happy we could
have stayed here and explored for days
it is just so stunningly beautiful and
unique nossas distinctive landscape is a
dramatic remnant of explosive volcanic
forces originally caused by the
collision and submersion of the African
plate beneath Eugene plate a very very
long time ago and it was time to jump in
this irresistible water and see what was
below

ready to roll cloudy and gloomy a little
bit behind yeah very beautiful morning
it's a bit of an afternoon you know so
very very enjoyable the storm is coming
Jason's getting a little tiny all sorted
out it came really quickly so I believe
it will probably be raining by the time
we anchor awesome Hey yeah she's come
pretty quick yeah she's alive front it
goes way up past nice alright well we
just made it in time here it comes
it's pretty massive storm front all
around this

as Trice
she made a good call we left what we did
because Kane's so quick I'm hoping it
also leaves really quick but yeah we
weren't even ready you didn't even get
the tender away but it's good news that
it's moving quickly overs we practically
dropped the anchor and just fingers
crossed that we were you know you really
drove us we were burst on him but like
not as long as we normally yeah and last
night we were anchoring hmmm number yeah
just buckle just snapped yeah
when trace is reversing and you weren't
reversing crazy hard what do you reverse
a 1500 or a little bit over but that
happened before I even got to that point
that was just as we were reversing to
get the attention on the train yeah yeah
so currently we don't have a buckle
which market is really we've just got
the two ropes I've got one Road which is
the main snubber and then a second one
just holding the chain just in case it
fails so we should be off after the
storm passed it was time to see more of
this incredible Island molasses over 40
beaches but with limited time we could
only visit four of them but we think we
picked the best and most unique beaches
with an anchorage nearby look at that
rock behind a shining in the sunshine
yeah why red multicolor the rock pretty
neat
red green yellow why

that's cool it's pretty amazing how they
all formed

we actually

well here we are in the southern end of
Millis wearing that through black Bay at
the moment and that's really cool view
we've got behind us and all the beaches
have been really unique along this
stretch of coastline and as it's a lot I
would say the Anchorage's have been
really good as well it's been quite
protected from there 20 not normally as
we've been experiencing so yeah I would
say it's a winner here
yeah Millis it's been great yes love it
down to a pretty isolated beach today
yep cigar dope which you can only get to
through a little hole and a lot us so
that will be interesting

yeah sorry dad yeah gorgeous it's really
still and hotly me no ordering I don't
think I've got to be hearing summer with
us yeah
what is clear sand and it's nice an
oscillator

yeah all right well this is the entrance
you wouldn't know it but there's a
little beautiful beach there a couple of
staircases to get down and you want to
trust the Rope gonna work best if done
that's the hardest re down this fight
you can see how beautifully is ahead
definitely worth it
five-run says it's the most isolated of
the beaches in fact we've got someone
here I had to go and go right
I think that's the easier option with
the contender there's a couple it's a
couple harder than that one spectacular

it makes you feel in stronger
what you may find
just take a little
you know goes by so slowly

really nice meet you it's very isolated
when you go up to the top and there's
nothing up there and it's quite
difficult to get down the first step
that you have to take it's very long and
it's not much hang on to so
it's pretty isolated and up there it
looks like there's just a mind and to
Illinois where there's no car park that
I can see there's nothing so probably
why they reckon it's the probably the
most isolated beach on Millis yeah
probably
and yeah it's just really beautiful down
here the colors are really unique that I
haven't seen before the kind of brownish
tannish color of the rocks and then the
beautiful greenish bluish color of the
water juxtaposed against each other it's
just since a song that we came here yep
happy happy
a tional yeah unfortunately the winds of
turn don't come from the south so we
gotta move on it as well sup - one of
the good things about my loss is all of
the wonderful sense that you can anchor
it it's been in all of Anchorage's we've
been in - based on the weather our next
stop was Polonia a small village on the
eastern side of Melos and the wind
direction was perfect for our short sale
to us
sailing equals freedom and our biggest
dictator on when and where to go is
Mother Nature
the Anchorage at Bologna was much
smaller than expected given the numerous
boys and ferry route we had to avoid the
bay was a hive of activity with
fishermen coming and going and locals
buying directly from them with the
season officially over we seem to be the
last of the visitors but this didn't
stop us from heading in and checking it
out this is downtown Polonia Sunday
evening tying up little tiny to the dock
we're off to take our rubbish into town
seems as though there's no restaurants
open soon life will be getting a feast
no does hopefully
so you've chosen its beer just I see
please and I have a beer we live we live
on a salver after enjoying one B it was
time to head home
I left the Anchorage yes are we sailing
sorry Kiko left Polonia and we've got 10
knots currently that's the apparent wind
in for 10 knots because we're going
downwind so it's about 15 nice little
down window the head sail that was good
a little bit wind what we want with
strong winds blowing offshore we really
wanted to find a secure patch of sand to
anchor in from the boat it looked as
though we were dropping in sand but it
was difficult to see as it was 10 meters
deep and there was a bit of cloud cover
however we managed to land it on a
smooth looking rock Jase decided to jump
in the water to get a closer look and
after about 20 minutes of searching we
were able to find a long stretch of sand
perfect for our mantas anchor we could
now head in and check out Sarah Kuniko
beach the most famous of all Millis
beaches with its moon like landscape
well there you go
wasn't expecting trees to be in the
middle of this thank you sir happy to
action so good so good what a spot a
little quiet out there

I really like it here like Australian
beaches are amazing but these are so
different these beaches you just don't
have these type in Australia see I love
that they unique something I haven't
seen before and it's a great great thing

leave my loss and with strong southerly
winds have some great sailing we visit
sickness Paris and Mykonos and again get
the Pick of the Anchorage's being in
Mykonos we feel obliged to hit the town
