video give it a thumbs up so we just
left talky very early morning like I
said even sunrise yet so you can't see
me I am here
hopefully
so we had impact to Weymouth today we
just need to catch the tide window
around Portland which means an early
start for us
so cattlemen isn't a bit when it's a bit
lighter any classes here they're more
[Music]
and we're just heading back to waylay
across nine bank they tie it against it
a minute
some rises just about carbonara this is
gonna break first arriving soon
bent around problems
just an hour now an hour after slack
Walter
ten inch or passage and
the eddy current practice of Wagner
that's the plan anyway

the passage cross-line bay was fairly
uneventful the wind was pretty much
constant and the sea state was nice and
calm there's no tax no jives who was
just sailing on a beam reach better
adjust the sails a couple of times but
that was pretty much it the cloud came
in the late morning but then was gonna
blow over in the afternoon or so that
was the forecast and it looked to be
improving as we go further and further
across Lyme Bay we resorted to listening
to Disney soundtracks much to the kids
amusement before we finally actually
read to Portland even the dog had had
enough and went to sleep wrapped up in a
towel he was cold and I felt sorry for
him a little sea hound had not been too
well before we self on this trip we
started to worry little bout him on this
crossing as he was sleeping a little
more than he usually does but he was
still feeling well enough to momen we
put the engine on lane to run taking the
weather windows we had and hiding in the
Gaels
meant we didn't actually managed to get
through mileage in that we actually
really wanted to I'm sure we could have
pushed ourselves further but as I
mentioned earlier little see how I
wasn't too well before we left he'd
actually been diagnosed with a heart
condition I wanted to stay close to
civilization and last cities in case we
needed a vet and his health was getting
a little bit worse the further we went
on this trip so he were starting to get
a little worried we also wanted the kids
to have a bit of fun and we not really
had much chance to anchor up and mess
about so he decided on a way back to
Portland that we stopped off some local
Anchorage's for a bit of R&R
so we just pass Portland bail
we put the intial passage again we did
it under motor purely because the wind
isn't particularly great
and we had a lot of tied with us but I
wants to go up the side of the building
they pushed out
they're the East
which means just fighting a bit the tide
to be honest because there's been the
back end coming up here at the minute we
coming up
but then as soon as we get round the
next point to just over there
their tide is not going to be as strong
as it
we've got to walk around on a half two
knots against us
around the next little bit of the
something like that important
we sail into Weymouth then the wind but
yeah just don't to be cut into tied at
the middle important because it can get
a bit hairy not as bad as when we left
obviously with the last time we came
around here was it was quite choppy and
everything out but
it's time it was serious fairly calm
obviously the height is quite quite
severely because we came through not a
slap tight but flowers after slack water
so there's a good three and a half four
nuts running running
what's that in there maybe the five at
times
people have the sales McKenzie

we are in 22 metres of water to get lots
of cool fruits and thumbs out so
