it's about half 5:00 in the morning got

about 30 knots of wind

we've been dragging

we did something do swing in today which

is where you have the mainsail on one

side annual for sale which in our case

is our light wind so on the other side

so we went down to try and um check the

keel which is damaged saw these fish so

I just got us lunch Silverline in yeah

it kills not as bad as what with the way

you was describing it it sounded awful

it's literally it's a heavy scratch so

we've obviously hit that rock and we

phoned our friends and and Cindy to let

them know there was an obstruction next

one of their friends is there as well

and it turns out they're on the way to

us now we've dive equipment to inspect

the damage it's not much damage actually

good for peace of mind cuz he's an

engineer as well so that's pretty much

exactly what we need

he's our rescuer and these dive

equipment come to save the day or at

least see what's happened

that is something that we struggle quite

good it was very foreign to me because I

never never had to deal with that in my

workplace being a bricklayer

it's brought the pieces of the puzzle

together should we say on I knew I knew

understand well a better understanding

close to it's going and raise it again

we've got all of our chain out there's

not really anything that we can do yeah

we've got 45 meters out normally what is

it 4 2 1 normally I supposed to do 4

meters of chain for everyone meet dad

we are a little bit over which is good

do also the ankle a litte bit dodgy some

funny games bit of a crazy last hour we

do we track three times or two times

dragged again and then we encode in

deeper water cuz I think we're so many

boats anchor in the same place over

there because it's kind of a perfect

depth it's just a little bit loose that

holding so we're in deeper water but we

seem to be holding pretty well now could

be famous last words but yeah not much

sleep but um I've been this catamaran

behind this boat they dragged and hit

that boat last night this catamaran out

here he's just treading water because he

dragged a couple of boats their anchor a

few times so ya expect everyone in here

will be sleeping all day without any

ones that much sleep tonight

this is what just passed over through

the night we're anchored in here

thunderstorms in that one evening I

don't think we got the worst of it so

Ryan when Spearfish yesterday and shot

there and has cooked it and it looks

incredible I'm not huge fish eater but

I'm gonna give it a really good guy it

smells incredible on people coconut milk

with that yeah Oh cut all the head off

in it that's that is literally the

edible part it was massive if you like

just had a shower and used the last of

the fresh water we did have two Big

Eight leaderboards bottles filled with

fresh water that we filled up a random

attack along the way so we put those in

the tank

ryan hasn't had a shower he did one of

oceans hair so he's resourceful tapping

salt water we have got water maker but

we haven't run it yet it seems really

complicated and we've had those to learn

and we just keep coming up with more and

more excuses as to why we're we're not

using it I think it's time to actually

learn how to use the words Mike Ryan

shower of three days in the book how

on a yacht the glamorous lifestyle this

is the reality

well yeah boy we haven't been able to

get water for the last two days we can't

afford to go into route for the last two

days yeah who's been really bad weather

so we haven't actually been able to get

off the boat

we need to fill up a fuel pan just been

in a bit of a wild goose chase trying to

find the man to fill up with fuel but we

think we found him so we can get some

and then that means we can actually get

back to the boat without a very it's a

tender when you go to a marina you have

to find a special place like a dinghy

dock where all the dinghy is going so

you're not in the way

Marina and filled up and about possible

you have showers and

people talk about it when they help

again today we're heading southeast

around the island of Menorca beautiful

day very very hot wind is supposed to be

about 15 knots Gustav hopefully will be

quite good sail

the Nature Reserve yeah we're going to

the nature of that

it's likely an island most be really

beautiful

no one looks up now

should be should be cry nice hopefully

we'll see some

cool fish pre-chilled today we've not

got loads and loads of wind but the main

art and the light wind

now to the Anchorage this is the Nature

Reserve looks really beautiful there's a

lot of shallow bit so we've got to be

quite careful because we don't want to

hit rock again um yeah hopefully we

don't we don't hit one of many stuff

litte bit worried now

can you zoom right in on the chart to

keep an eye on your main focus Ryan

avoid rock those own yeah it's that

island

it's the Nature Reserve I can see some

birds so maybe they're protective birds
