There is a strange noise coming from the bottom of our boat. What is it? Sailing was a suggestion that soon evolved into an obsession. ⛵ Follow us as we leav...

last time on sails and tails we started
to go through our storage unit and began
the process of selling off all of our
belongings and we found a good deal on
Craigslist for a 10-foot porta boat so
we jumped on it and purchased our very
first new to us dinghy
so we're here at the storage unit we're
picking up our kayaks and we are gonna
go kayaking in the Pamlico Sound we're
down here in little Washington North
Carolina so it should be fun
so let's go make the pinch ownership
yeah check this boat out
[Music]
it's a worn ball rotation support
[Music]
which student asked
[Music]
if you can hear that clicking noise of
course the stock so there goes
I can feel like when I put my hand on
the floor I can feel a vibration of
whatever it is
what is it tested what is it what is it
what I have no idea what it is
there's something eating my boat
I asked her boat neighbor Dan about the
strange noise and he said that he thinks
that it's Turtles beating off the bottom
of the hall
since our boats are sitting at the mouth
of the Chowan River and the water's
brackish well that's the best conclusion
that I could come up with as well and
hey who can complain when the hall is
being cleaned for free

so we need 250 foot pieces line for the
jib sheets and we'll go the smaller
diameter than what this is because I
don't think

and of course it's just our luck or
Murphy's Law that one of the new jib
sheets would come undone

so here we are this is where we go
sailing
this is the Pamlico this is Albemarle up
here right in here and we come out of
Eatonton right here this is the Chowan
River right there and we come out of
Edenton out of our marina come down here
and this doesn't look like a very big
area but it's actually really big and
there are some power lines right here
and generally we sail up to them we
don't we would just turn around and once
we get there and go back and sail around
here we don't really venture past the
power lines as of yet that's hopefully
soon and here you can see that we have
reached the power lines today and this
is our friend down on his boat Mariah
he's just started heading back the other
way and we are about to do the same
