Palinuro School of the Navy will be moored in the port of Trapani where it will remain parked until 8 September 2019. 

The Unit is engaged in the 55th Education Campaign and currently the marshals are on board. 

The visitors, during their stay on board, will complete the knowledge acquired during the academic year on land. In the wake of the most ancient seafaring traditions, as only a sailing ship can transmit, they will have the opportunity to try their hand at nautical sciences, they will learn the dynamics of life on board, the rhythms and seafaring customs. 

This first boarding experience will strengthen the character of the Student, consolidating his sense of responsibility and stimulating the initiative in overcoming the typical difficulties of sea life, but it will also be a unique opportunity to strengthen the spirit of body and the sense of belonging typical of the "professionals of the sea". 

During the visits, the Leonardo 500 project material will be exhibited on Nave Palinuro. 

On Friday 6 September 2019, at 8.30pm, the performance of the "Sicily Ensemble" orchestra will take place at Casine delle Palme. 

Fans of sailing tradition and the merely curious will instead visit the Palinuro ship on the following days: 

- 5 September from 16:00 to 19:00; 

- 6 and 7 September from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00 will take place the performance of the orchestra "Sicily Ensemble" at Casine delle Palme.
